On the heels of acquiring the Lucasfilm Ltd library, which includes Star Wars and Indiana Jones, Disney announced early this morning that they have also completed negotiations to gain control of Knoxville’s popular Live At Five At Four.
“It’s a natural fit to our collection of traditional animated characters,” says Disney. “Although we’ve recently expanded our live-action franchises, we don’t want to overlook the juvenile entertainment that has made us so popular historically.”
Although specifics weren’t available at time of press, Disney representatives did confirm that they are planning at least three sequels to Live At Five At Four. The sequel titles tentatively Live At Five At Two Hours After Four, Live At Five At Three Hours Before Ten, and Live At Five At The Ocho.
