It’s the time of year that we enjoy being scared. At least, we enjoy it more than we do at other times of the year. Today it’s easy to find things that terrify; news alerts about school shootings or just the thought of Harold Ford, Jr. being elected.
In my search for things I haven’t done yet, I happened across Ripley’s Haunted Adventure in Gatlinburg. Making a decision to drop $13+ for a haunted house was discomforting, but I’m certainly glad I did it.
First, I have to say right off the bat that ‘scary’ probably isn’t the right way to describe the experience. ‘’Nerve-wracking’ or ‘highly intense’ better describes the experience.
I don’t want to take a chance on giving away any of the surprises, but the actors were top-notch and the experience was a lot of fun.
If you are still looking for something fun to do this Halloween (or any other time of the year), Ripley’s Haunted Adventure just might be the thing to do. Just turn left at traffic light number 8 in Gatlinburg, and you cannot miss it.
