City tackles growing rat problem with help from KARM

Posted on August 1, 2011 by Brehd Patchley

Rat infestation is a problem in every city, and has become increasingly apparent in Knoxville. As a way to combat the problem, the City of Knoxville has developed a new publication, ‘100 Ways to Eat a Rat,’ which is being dispersed solely at Knoxville Area Rescue Ministries. KARM will, in turn, provide .10 for each rat pelt turned in.

Although controversial, City representatives point towards the dramatic success of the 2008 publication ‘How to Stage a Bum Fight’ in bringing the needs of the homeless into the spotlight.
