Coming soon: Krutch Park KOA

Posted on July 15, 2003 by Bjorn Knoxley
Coming soon: KPKOA

To compliment the range of lodging available for the convention center, a KOA Kampground will be built in Krutch Park. Starting next spring, the KPKOA will entice visitors who would otherwise head to the mountains for their kamping needs and it will offer convention center visitors an alternative to stuffy hotels. The Kampground’s many amenities will include full kamper hookups (available on Market Street), high speed internet access, a swimming pool with lazy river, mini golf, self-service sawtooth oak firewood, and fishing. Free self-paced “condemned property” tours and a “Riverfront River Rat and Carp” tour are included.
