Knoxville possibly forced to change name

Posted on November 12, 2002 by Bjorn Knoxley

In a strange turn of events, it’s possible that Knoxville will be forced to change its name. A resident of our fine city has recently made a name for himself by registering the names of properties and potential businesses that are under development. Surprisingly he has discovered that Knoxville does not own the rights to the name ‘Knoxville’ and registered the name to describe a 1/8th acre lot of land currently utilized for pig farming.

City officials have scrambled to create a list of potential names and will allow the public to make the decision by voting here at Knoxpatch.com. Please see the poll located at the bottom left of our main website to cast your vote!
