A group trying to sponsor Cas Walker for Sheriff was dealt a blow this week when a court ruled that he is not a valid write-in candidate. A spokesperson for the group said that although they are disappointed, they are ready to get behind another candidate, such as the old lady from the Hammer’s commercials, the old lady who said, with some authority, “Don’t you buy no ugly truck,” or the guy who does the Beaty Chevrolet radio commercials.
