Charlie Daniel’s editorial cartoon raises concern

Posted on February 18, 2006 by Bjorn Knoxley

The talented Knoxville News Sentinel editorial cartoonist, Charlie Daniels, has upset residents of Hell with his February 15th cartoon showing a fictionalized discussion between two ‘devil’ creatures looking at a bill from TVA. One minion of Hell that wished to remain anonymous seemed exasperated and wished to stress to our readers the fact that Hell is NOT having difficulty paying utility bills. “That is simply misleading. We are not having trouble making payments, and heck, we hardly use any utilities anyway. We are behind on some bills, but it’s only because Beelzebub has been very busy lately and forgot to mail in payments.” Although the situation is currently under control, Knoxpatch advises employees of TVA not to visit Hell until a bit more time passes.
