The Inaugural Knoxville Marathon, presented by Covenant Health, is scheduled for March 20th, 2005. We at Knoxpatch are very excited to see an event of this size coming to our humble city and wanted to update you about what has happened with the event in the past two months.
Covenant Health has become the presenting sponsor.
McDonalds has become the sponsor of the Mara Fun kid’s event.
New Balance Knoxville and Runners Market have become official sponsors.
Registrations from 35 states and Canada have been received.
Projections show that more than 4000 people will participate in the event, with 1000s more as spectators.
Volunteers and sponsors are still needed!
