Knoxville to host 2005 National GED Prom

Posted on September 20, 2004 by Bjorn Knoxley

Knoxville has been chosen to host the 2005 First Annual National GED Prom, a new event designed to assist those receiving a GED to experience all the special moments that typically are associated with high school. Event organizers are unsure as to how many will attend the Prom, but promise enough activity to provide a minor boost to the local economy. In order to secure Knoxville as the host site, convention center representatives are offering a free quart of motor oil and a touch-up to all mullets to all attendees (male and female).
