Loch Norris Skier spotted again

Posted on January 17, 2003 by Bjorn Knoxley
This remarkable image shows
the Loch Norris Skier

The mystery of the Loch Norris Skier deepened last weekend when Bernard Patrick allegedly caught him on film and released the photo to authorities. Most people who ski the waters of Loch Norris, or Norris Lake, are aware of the legend that a skier haunts the waters, waiting for a boat to tie his rope to. Legend has it that the skier was sad when his family had to sell the boat to buy liquor, and he has haunted the Loch ever since. He was first spotted in 1972, and has appeared several times in the channel off Pointe 19 (Loyston Pointe) since. Until this conclusive photo, the story was considered fake. But now, further investigation may be required.
