Pigeon Forge going to all outdoor restaurants

Posted on September 7, 2011September 7, 2011 by Ima Jeane Poole

Pigeon Forge City Commissioners voted last month to allow beer outside with the proper permits. This marks the first time that beer has been allowed to be served. With this new policy set in place, restaurants are moving to all outdoor seating.

“We figure that the profits from the beer sales will make up for the demolition of the walls in the first month. Tourists are always put off by the fact that we couldn’t serve beer,” says local restauranteur, Opin Aire. “We have plans on putting in heaters for the winter months and cooling sprinklers for the summer months. Things are looking up.”
