This is the privacy policy for Knoxpatch.com. It is written in plain language because we do not have a legal department, and the one we invented for an article is not returning calls.
What we collect
Knoxpatch.com is a publishing site. You can read everything on it without creating an account or giving us any personal information. Like nearly every website, our server keeps standard access logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and troubleshooting, which are periodically rotated and deleted.
If you leave a comment, we store the name, email address, and website you enter with it, along with the comment itself. Your email address is not published or shared. An anonymized string created from your email address may be provided to the Gravatar service to check whether you have a profile picture there.
Cookies and analytics
The site uses standard WordPress cookies, which mostly exist so that commenting and logins work. We use site analytics (WordPress.com/Jetpack statistics) to see aggregate numbers such as page views and referrers; these do not identify you personally to us.
